Motorola W755 goes to Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless is releasing the entry-level Motorola W755 available for purchase through Verizon’s website and retail outlets. And being an entry-level mobile phone, the W755 doesn’t promise too much in terms of features and capabilities. Motorola however promises not only great call sounds but also when listening to music on the Motorola W755. Yes, it is an entry-level phone that also features a music player. In addition, the Motorola W755 also boast of touch-sensitive controls that lets you access music, activate Bluetooth and adjust ring volumes or mute calls without even opening the phone. Ok, I know we shouldn’t expect a lot from an entry-level phone, right? But what can we do, though it would seem that the W755 is a simple clamshell phone, but actually it is more than just your simple basic phone. In fact, it boasts of other features that you wouldn’t expect from a phone that is being marketed as a basic mobile phone. And these features include; 1.3 mp camera without flash, microUSB port, dual color displays, 83mb internal memory, microSD memory card slot, 5 theme choices, downloadable games, mp3 playback, MMS and SMS, Bluetooth, speakerphone, voice recognition. The W755 gives out 390 hours of standby time and 220 minutes of talk time. The W755 will be available starting today for $119 with a 2-year Verizon Wireless contract.
